Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of news.wesjackson.ai and the newsletters published there, including Cleared to Act (together, the "service"). The service is operated by Third Ralph, LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as WesJackson.ai ("we" or "us"). By using the service or subscribing to a newsletter, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The newsletters
The newsletters are free. When you subscribe, we send a confirmation email. After you confirm, you receive the most recent issues and each new edition of the newsletters you chose. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in every email.
We may change, pause, or stop any newsletter or the site at any time, with or without notice.
Your use of the service
You may read, share links to, and quote brief excerpts from the newsletters and the site with attribution and a link to the source page.
You agree not to:
- republish whole issues, or substantial parts of them, without our written permission;
- subscribe other people without their consent, or submit addresses you do not control;
- use automated means to submit the subscribe form, or to scrape the site in a way that burdens it;
- interfere with the site's security or operation;
- use the service in violation of any law.
Content and ownership
The newsletters and the site, including text, design, and logos, belong to Third Ralph, LLC and are protected by copyright and other laws. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you. "WesJackson.ai" and "Cleared to Act" are our names, and you may not use them in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product.
Each item in a newsletter links to its source. Those sources belong to their owners, and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability.
Information only
The newsletters report and comment on developments in artificial intelligence and security for general information. They are not professional, legal, security, or investment advice, and following a suggestion in them is your own decision. Verify anything important against the primary source before relying on it. We try to be accurate, but we do not guarantee that every statement is complete, current, or correct.
Messages you send us
If you reply to a newsletter or write to us, you agree that we may read your message and respond to it. We will not publish your name or your message without your permission.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Third Ralph, LLC and its members, managers, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the service or reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Third Ralph, LLC and its members, managers, and contractors against claims arising from your violation of these terms or misuse of the service.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. It is part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute relating to the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If you live in a country whose consumer protection laws give you the right to bring a claim in your local courts, these terms do not take that right away.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will note it in a newsletter. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the service.
